The Kayas of a Buddha

June 14-15, 8:30 - 3:30 pm Eastern Time, 14:30-21:30 Central European Time

The Kayas of a Buddha

The kāyas of a buddha (dimensions of awakening) are mostly described as the ultimate result of the Mahāyāna path: the expression of the realization (wisdom) of the nature of the mind and the associated awakened activity (compassion). In the Mahāmudrā und Dzogchen traditions, as well as in some dohās (songs of realization) of the mahāsiddhas, the three (or more) kāyas are also explained as the already naturally present aspects of the nature of the mind. Mitra Karl will teach in English, with French translation.
